I bought a Porta-Jump start from Mitre 10. It fits in the glove box. It works providing the car battery has got at least some charge in it. You have to plug it into the cigarette lighter power cord for about 10 minutes to charge the battery before you attempt to start the vehicle. If it starts then happy motoring. If it does not start plan B is to call the AA.
You have to remember to keep it charged. It has got me going on two occasions but the third time the AA came to my rescue. |
