| 1399792 | 2015-05-04 07:02:00 | Well, what a bloody fiasco! I've wasted the better part of an afternoon trying to buy ten identical stock items! Couldn't buy from RS UK, the world outside of Buckingham Palace has ceased to exist, as has Europe. RS Australia has crossed its legs in sympathy and wiped NZ from its list of Pacific Nations to which it deigns to sell its products (and now excludes most of Asia as well). RS NZ couldn't make up its mind whether it had stocks or not, but I managed to enter an order when it wasn't looking! I actually found out that it did have stock when Oz said they could pull some units in from NZ. This was before it crossed its legs of course! I'm not entirely convinced that the goods will ever arrive, and as a precaution I've left a message on the Manufacturer's website in Finland expressing my dissatisfaction with the efficiency of their so called agents. I'll probably never hear back from any of them, and I'm not all that hopeful that my order will ever materialise. RS would have to be one of the most obtuse websites I've ever encountered, and really all they needed to do to save me from committing mass murder would have been to add a message at the start saying that "This Site Services Australia (or UK or NZ) Only" instead of making you work your way through the entire ordering process then finding that the last box doesn't include NZ'ers as valued customers. The cost of my purchase was comprehensively exceeded by the monetary value of my lost chargeable time! Cheers Billy 8-{) |
