1408792 2015-09-23 22:28:00 Is there a way to disable the Automatic Update in Win10 Home version?

It is really annoying!

1408794 2015-09-23 23:48:00 But you realize MS have decided they dont want you to have any control over this, you bad bad man
Next thing you'll be asking how to stop Win using your PC to deliver the Win updates to other PC's in NZ, as Win10 does .

1408795 2015-09-24 00:50:00 1101, are you talking about 'Windows Update' in Services? If I were to turn off this service, will I still be able to do my Windows Update manually?

I still want to Update Windows, but don't want Windows to do it AUTOMATICALLY.

1408796 2015-09-24 01:01:00 Just turn the service back on when you want to run the update. I haven't tried this myself on 10, so I assuming MS haven't blocked that as well (works on win7 etc)
You could probably make a batch file to do this, you'd need to google it though

Win10 home doesnt give any reasonable options for manual WinUpdating . MS decided home users are just to stupid to manage that themselves (and thats partly true, unfortunately)
