1399499 2015-04-28 10:01:00 Hi All
I suspect that all the new online viewing is finally bringing our ancient copper line internet system down to it knees?:horrified
Is my interpretation wrong?
Embarrassing anyway(we are in 2015!)

1399500 2015-04-28 10:14:00 Yep, quite a few are noticing congestion during peak times with the remaining ones on ADSL Rural are getting well shafted and paying for what they are not getting

1399501 2015-04-28 10:53:00 I am on VDSL and it usually comes in at 18Mbps. At times the bandwidth is so narrow that even You Tube stops to Cache every so often. Evenings and Sundays are the worst. mzee (3324)
1399502 2015-04-29 03:50:00 Watching Netflix is a pain after 6.00pm and up until around 9.30pm - pausing to buffer several times per movie. And I'm on a normally excellent VDSL line... johcar (6283)
1399503 2015-04-29 06:29:00 We have had no problems on our rural ADSL Slingshot connection watching Netflix in HD.
Download speeds are around 5mpbs normally.

1399504 2015-04-29 08:18:00 So far have not been affected by said download speeds on Netflix. Main prob being keep going over data cap......! Back onto unlimited next month...... (Slingshot)

1399505 2015-04-29 09:04:00 The slow down will help Chorus selling their new connections, no doubt. Pathetic. Cap free for the crap speed, what a swap!!!!!!!!!!!!:yuck: notechyet (4479)
1399506 2015-04-29 09:44:00 I support the call for all ISP's to abolish unlimited data plans :2cents: Greg (193)

I also agree "unlimited" is causing speeds to go slow . I even notice fibre is also affected .
