| 497542 | 2006-11-08 09:20:00 | Ok recently i changed from a cheap nastie ISP, to a larger company ISP and had good speeds and loading etc............just recently my pages dont fininsh loading at all, if i dont go back to that tab, it can be still loading in an hour. is this a ploy to get us dial uppers onto broadband? or is it a problem with isp, or my pc? driving me nutty cos pf1 also takes forever to load.:( I also have problems majorly with Emails not getting thro, even from ones i have got specifically sent via web pages? changed email addys and makes not a jot of difference......... i am finding it a pain because nothing is progressing how it should be and a refresh doesnt help. ive cleared cookies, and cache.had a nitemare loading pages and getting passwords and log ins working again........ so i dont wanna go down that track again.:( ive done system checks lately and makes no diff, and defrag regularly. its a beetle curse im sure.:p beetle:rolleyes: |

| 497547 | 2006-11-08 18:31:00 | I sometimes have this problem on broadband. The way I fix it is stopping the page then reloading it. Always works. (Or checking my connection/s) |

| 497548 | 2006-11-08 18:53:00 | When u changed ISP's and changed the email addies, did u change the pop and smtp servers as well? Thats if u use OE or Outlook. Or do u just use webmail Beetle? It used to take me ages to get to PF1 too, until I blocked the ads with Opera :D If u havent changed the DNS servers, it looks like theyre Primary: 202.180.64.9 Secondary: 202.180.64.2 And if u use OE or other (besides webmail), did u change the pop and smtp servers to For Incoming mail server (POP3): pop3.slingshot.co.nz For Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.slingshot.co.nz ? |
