| 497517 | 2006-11-08 09:13:00 | Ok i have asus dvd burner............ have a whole load of photos i have ready to copy / burn onto a dvd........... (first dvd it couldnt see) and now when i want to copy / burn it only comes up with CD burner as the option in the list........i have both on this machine. How can i send to dvd if its not in the option? And when i use nero it only gives me the option to make a slide show. when i just want to save the pics to dvd to be veiwable via telly / dvd player? clear as mud? frustration city here......... please can some one give me some instrctions on how i get them to go to dvd E drive? not cd D drive? beetle |

| 497519 | 2006-11-08 09:22:00 | yes i did, no idea where i put disk......... but yes, was told by the crew here to do that. i cannot just use the send too options via windows......which is the easy way out, ive used in the past for cd's............but cannot for the dvd... so yeah new territory for me, hardly used the burner yet:( beetle |

| 497521 | 2006-11-08 09:30:00 | yeah i know but it wont give me the option of just burning the photos...........it wants to make a slideshow.............and i get lost then.... i just want photos on disk. to be playable via dvd for telly. and i just dont got the patience for it right now............ so a slide show is in the hard pile. beetle |

But then, I doubt it'll work in a standalone dvd player. If u do it as a data DVD. It may play on a PC, but Beetle wants to play it on a DVD player. Somehow, I think with Nerovision it may give u the option to do a slideshow BUT you'll need the plugin (which isnt free) to do it. |

It will depend on the DVD player he has, some DVD players have the built-in ability to read and display image files . Really should be making a slideshow, if you make it on a CD you can use Picasa, but there again it depends on the DVD player if it will play or not . |

BUT that depends on how the cd/dvd is burned. And it doesnt usually work if u do either as a data cd/dvd. |
