498075 2006-11-11 06:20:00 Hi, there:
I have Windows XP in English, but would like to have the shortcut keys for Notepad configured in Spanish. I.e.: Instead of Ctrl + F(ind) for a search, I'd like to have Ctrl + B(uscar). The same for Open, Save, Replace, Paste, Go To and Select All.
Any help?

498076 2006-11-11 06:45:00 This (www.microsoft.com) maybe what you're after. Language packs will change the version to your language. There are similar installs for Office 2003.

Would the Basque link be what you're after?

498077 2006-11-11 07:42:00 You can consider Microsoft MultiMedia Keyboard. It has hot keys for help, undo, redo, new, open, close etc etc... developer (4447)
498078 2006-11-11 15:41:00 HI, Speedy and Developer:
Thanks for your help.
However, maybe I did not explain myself good, maybe because of my poor English.... Accept my apologies for that.
I have a Spanish version of Office 2003, and the shortcut keys are ok. For example, if I want to "Find" some text in a Word document I click Ctrl+B (where 'B' means 'Buscar').
But when I want to find some text in Notepad, which is not part of Office, I have to hit Ctrl+F (where 'F' means 'Find').
I really don't need the Languages pack, because Office 2003 is working Ok.
My question is: Is there a way to change the most common shortcuts in Notepad?
Can I make, for example, 'Ctrl+R' (where 'R' means 'Reemplazar') to be the shortcut for 'replacing' text in Notepad instead of using the default English shortcut 'Ctrl+H'?
I hope I could explain myself well this time.
Once again, thanks!

498079 2006-11-11 19:18:00 I don't know if you can customize shortcut keys in Notepad.
However, you may like to have a search on Google, find some shortcut keys utility programs, or third party Notepad substitutes which let you customize shortcut keys (e.g. UltraEdit).

Matty: I don't know how to change the registry. I don't like messing with it... but any help will be appreciated.
