497877	2006-11-10 01:16:00	Hey surfer I have Spyware Doctor and a free spyware scanner I d/loaded off the net. Windows XP and 224mb RAM. Should I also be looking at unchecking startup programmes or do you think it could just be a Norton issue? I subscribed to Norton - waste of $ huh? IMO, no matter what you find as the culprit, I bet that Norton (or it's buddy McAfee) is a waste of money and resourses. But...and that's a large "but", Norton's is not the most fav anti-device on this site...er...MOST sites really. Get thee to a nunnery whilst thou also gets off the Snorton/Symeantec/McApee fix and get something really better and free.	SurferJoe46 (51)

497881	2006-11-10 02:11:00	Its adware, did u tick the entries in my previous post and click on fix checked then do a scan with Spybot?? And if those entries came up, tick them so Spybot could remove them? Dont remove it manually from msconfig. Spybot should remove whatever entries from the system.	Speedy Gonzales (78)

497885	2006-11-10 03:54:00	Ah yup with Java, you SHOULD uninstall ALL previous versions, before u install the latest version. Because even if u install over (or if the new version gets installed in another folder), (without uninstalling the previous version), you're prone to the previous version/s of Java's vulnerabilities (if it had any).
