| 497910 | 2006-11-10 03:07:00 | I believe that if the lazer is actually in the OFF mode or not lit, then the only thing really running is the turntable - drive part and motor. This isn't like some home players that will shut down everything after an hour or so in that state (pause). There's not really anything to wear out as there's not needle of head on the disc in actual contact..so the disc is safe anyway |
