is there anyone in nz that can rebios a abit nf7 s v 2.0 bios
i updated bios with windows program supplied and it said all was fine but then would not post cleared cmos etc but no post....can any one advise plz or has a bad abit nf7 s v2 mobo to salvage bios chip thanx all;) |

u cold get a new mother board or u could get hold of the nz manufator / repersentv of your mother board and ask them |

My bios died on me, following a failed up-date. Just wouldn't reboot. Did a bit of reading and found you can borrow a bios chip from a similar motherboard and reprogram your own. I took mine to a computer shop in Hammy (Smart PC) and one of their techs did it for me. He had to wait until he came across the same mobo but he only charged $17.00. I was on holiday for 6 weeks so I left it with him and it was fixed when I got back. Very nearly fixed as there were some changes, like my onboard LAN didn't work and needed a card as well as having to press F! during the boot-up sequence. |
