498988 2006-11-14 03:59:00 So, whats the error?

Does whatever program, you're using bring up an error?

Well, if you're burning to dvd and it works and it doesnt burn again, (if you decide to burn to the same dvd later), thats normal .

Unless u use something like Nero, and the Multisession option is ticked .

Which will leave the cd/dvd open, so u can add more to it .

You're not formatting the dvds before you burn whatever to them are you?

Because you don't .

498989 2006-11-14 08:44:00 It shows that all unused dvd's have no free space Tony3tl (11467)
498990 2006-11-14 08:57:00 Have you tried another burning program? developer (4447)
498991 2006-11-14 09:01:00 IT will burn via dvd decryptor and nero, but my concern is that it does not show free space on new unused disc's Tony3tl (11467)
498992 2006-11-14 09:13:00 Try Nero Express, it is an option on my version of Nero. zqwerty (97)
498993 2006-11-14 09:18:00 I don't have a blank one to try at the moment, but I don't think mine shows free space either (you mean the pie chart from drive property, don't you?). developer (4447)
498994 2006-11-14 18:12:00 as i had my burner for a number of years, time to replace. New burner same problem,

Were both burners the same brand? What are you using now?

Try Googling the make and model of your present burner with a few key words, to see if others are having the same problem.
