| 498998 | 2006-11-14 04:54:00 | This is a new problem that has just cropped up today when I first booted my computer. When I click a hyper link in an email within OUTLOOK, I get an 'Error' chime and a dialogue box that reads: This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator. I have made no changes to my system and the computer seems to be working properly in all other respects. Firefox displays properly and I can send and receive emails with Outlook normally. In addition when I click a link in an email message within Thunderbird, I get no response at all. Specifically there is no error dialogue box but neither does the link open in either Firefox or Internet Explorer. In summary, my email programs is not talking to either of my browsers.:( I would really appreciate some help with this. Thanks for your suggestions. |

| 499000 | 2006-11-14 06:39:00 | Have a read of this (support.microsoft.com) Speedy Gonzales: I am presently using IE7 in which the menu is slightly different, but sadly the directions made no difference at all. I still have the same problem despite selecting IE to check that it is the default browser. |
