| 498924 | 2006-11-14 01:25:00 | i thought i try something. i downloaded icq using just internet explorer and it was downloading at 20kbps. now when i download the same file using download accelerator i'm downloading at 200kbps. i'm on go large. rapidshare etc is still slow because i can't use download accelerator with it. my web browsing is very very slow,but howcome download accelerator can download at 200kbps and ie can only download at 20kbps? I mean it's a huge difference isn't it. usually ie and download accelerator would download at the same speed but now download accelerator is way way faster. if you are having problems downloading on go large,use download accelerator and see if it speeds things up. if i view a video on youtube it takes ages to load just a 12mb file,like 4minutes,but when i download the video from youtube using download accelerator the download is finished within 20 seconds. |

| 498928 | 2006-11-14 03:38:00 | Well my guess is that IE is using only one connection to the server thus you are only getting 20kbps but if you use a DL manager, that uses more connections to the server then you get say 20kbps for example per connection and 10 connections bang! there is you 200kbps, I have noticed that... it is why for big files I use a DL manager... | The_End_Of_Reality (334) | ||
