| 499545 | 2006-11-19 11:34:00 | Unfortunately, die to the number of automated programs registering themselves for the sole purpose of then posting spam, we need to use image verification to cut down on this. I'm surprised that bots can read them better than humans. My point is you can't justify a validation procedure solely to fool Spamers, if some genuine human respondants can't join this forum as a result. I didn't give up, mainly so I can make this point for those that are unable. Wouldn't be easier to recognize spam when you see it, then cut their membership and delete all of their posts? I really hate spam too! |
