499709 2006-11-16 09:13:00 Just type cd\ {enter}

I'll get it right in a moment, that is cd\ followed by the enter key.

499712 2006-11-16 10:45:00 Bob, nice to have two guys helping.
We managed all that but when it came to burning the CD's are just to small, bummer...
That Nlite looks interesting.
Anything you want to tell about it, is it easy to get around it?

Thanks

499714 2006-11-16 21:49:00 When you get sick of typing "Documents and Settings" a million times in command.exe you could do a minimal installation of Cygwin and get a decent shell. Then you can run bash and type Doc<tab>. With a little practice you can navigate on the command line much faster than with a GUI. TGoddard (7263)

"Have you ever wanted to remove Windows components like Media Player, Internet Explorer, Outlook Express, MSN Explorer, Messenger . . .

How about not even to install them with Windows ?

nLite is a tool for permanent Windows components removal and pre-installation Windows setup"

How interesting .
I did it myself the manual way and I didn't have to:

"It needs . NET Framework 2 . 0 in order to run it . . . " either

Not really, you can get the Nlite runtimes which are the core files needed to get Nlite to run. Its installed in the same folder as Nlite so you can delete the whole folder when your done with it.
