| 500217 | 2006-11-18 05:34:00 | I recently upgraded my main Desktop computer to a athlon 64 x2 (4600) and have installed Windows XP Pro. I am having trouble transfering files from other Network PC's to the upgraded PC. I can see the other computers on the network and can transfer files from the upgraded computer to other computers on the network but can not initiate transfers from any of the other computers. Whem I try I get the message "Not enough server memory" I can transfere filese between other computers on the network. | PT7 (7706) | ||

| 500219 | 2006-11-18 08:57:00 | Thanks You were correct the message was "not enough server storage" Changing the IRPStackSize size to 25 cured the problem. To answer your questions , There are three computers on the network. The second computer is running XP Pro and the third windows Me. I had not found the knowledge base article you gave me the link to. I had found an article that suggested setting IRPStackSize to 12, but this did not fix the problem. Cheers |
