The only way I can see is as I explained above or occasionally you may open OE while Mwasher is "idling" between shedualed checks.Mailwasher does not check for spam.It checks yr mailbox then you check the first few lines to see if mail is spam or not. |

| 500476 | 2006-11-26 12:06:00 | Maybe some messages have become invisible. Mail Washer catches the test messages I send. When some others come in - especially spam - Mail Washer appears to catch them, but when I open it there is nothing showing. I've checked the 'hidden messages' option in 'View' and have yet to see if this is the answer to the problem. | wolffie (11487) | ||
| 500477 | 2006-11-26 12:47:00 | It might be this... if you've set MW to check every five minutes, then you look to see if there's anything on the server, say one good message and one spam. So you kill the spam, then download the good message. But in between your viewing and deleting, another spam has arrived on the server that MW hasn't checked yet, because the next five minute check is still a minute or so away. If this is the case, if there's only spam, kill it; if there's a good message waiting, do another quick manual check in MW before you download. Just keep in mind not to set your auto checks too frequently - some mailservers limit the max number of checks per hour. |

| 500478 | 2006-11-26 17:43:00 | checking the 'hidden messages' option seems to have done the trick. All spam is going through Mail Washer now. Thanks for the advice on Auto Checks. I'll bear it in mind and do a manual check of MW before opening the mail program. |
