| 500513 | 2006-11-19 23:16:00 | They are probally temp files sitting awaiting to be burned to CD. With no disc in the drive click into it, then delete all files you see. If there are any there they are only temp/shortcuts to the real files and are safe to delete. edit.. as others have said XP wont burn a DVD, it will only burn a CD. Either slide in a CD and burn or delete them. You need a program to burn DVD's |

| 500514 | 2006-11-19 23:24:00 | HI i lodged a therd the other day which goes down the same line, as disc's will burn but show no free space on a empty and new dvd, but show only the burnt size after burn, also my version 6 nero doesnt show multisession, so im intersted in following your thread tony |

It might be better using Nero Express / data cd, (if you're making a data cd), then u add the files, then Next. The multisession option is on this screen. It says allow files to be added later (multisession disc). It maybe similar (or the same steps) as v6. I'm using V7 of Nero at the mo. |

When I once carelessly tried to copy files onto a disk using Windows Explorer I had a similar problem. All I did was open Explorer, browse to the drive (with the disk still inside) and deleted the files waiting to be burned. |
