| 500330 | 2006-11-18 22:14:00 | Over enthusiastic removal of files made a reinstallation of winxp necessary. The new installation has been MS activated. My problem is that the plug n play routine does not recognise any hardware including monitors, pronters and modem, and I'm stuck with vga. Going into display properties\settings\advanced\monitor should give me access to properties, but the properties button is greyed out. Could somebody please help me? John |

| 500331 | 2006-11-18 22:19:00 | thats cause you need to install drivers for motherboard, video, modem, lan etc. fairly normall :) | tweak'e (69) | ||
| 500332 | 2006-11-18 22:36:00 | You could use something like SIW ( www.gtopala.com ) to see what you have in the way of motherboard etc.. so you can at least find the correct drivers. | pheonix (36) | ||
