2006-11-18 20:10:00 | Go into PM and there is a partition recovery tool... somewhere, I don't have it installed so I am unable to tell you exactly... but that should recover it unless it has been zero filled, which is a lot harder Just installed Paragon Partition Manager and I have version 7 and if you go into the "Getting Started" option under the start menu, there is an option to "Undelete Lost Or Deleted Partitions" and that is on the left hand frame under "Select A Wizard" What version do you have?

2006-11-18 23:28:00 | If that doesn't work, try using something like PC Inspector file recovery program (freeware). It managed to find and save files on an external HD that Linux had stuffed up. | Shortcircuit (1666) | |
2006-11-19 00:17:00 | I'd try the Inspector first as it is totally passive. Recover any data you can, then try and recover from the crash. Recovery may work, or it could cause things to get worse.

2006-11-19 12:27:00 | But I refuse to believe anyone would try to repartition a hard drive that had any data on it that they actually wanted to keep ... Refusing is just denying the truth! And that is da Nile is the longest river in da World :) Yeah.. wasn't there a message Fergie like "All data will be lost - yes/no?" Oh well, hope U get the data back.

2006-11-19 20:50:00 | You can use partition magic on a disk with data on it if you only want to resize partitions (have done it many times without data loss). But it does warn you to back up data first.... Oh, getdataback works really well too... http://www.runtime.org/
