| 499923 | 2006-11-17 06:59:00 | Help please, I have been using BitTorrent to download from P2P sites (with IE) but unfortunately I was sucked in to "Go Large" and the bottom fell out of my speeds, I read that a Download manager/accelerator could help and I downloaded "BitTorrent Ultra Accelerator" by Traffic Speeders (seemed like a good idea at the time) and everything went pear shaped, I have got rid of this software and everything is back to what I had before which is very slow, does anyone know of a good download manager/accelerator that works with IE and BitTorrent and how to use it? | distressed damsal (11483) | ||
| 499924 | 2006-11-17 07:41:00 | Welcome to PF1, i think we need a seperate section for p2p/bittorent. Download accelerator like getright supports torrents but i dont think there is any speed difference. if you want speedy torrent downloads move to sweden. | gum digger (6100) | ||

| 499926 | 2006-11-17 07:50:00 | I fear that xtra doesn't like p2p or torrents or downloading or . . a lot of other things, so they slow you down until you promise to limit yourself to 2 emails a day.;) Whatever, they will throttle the bandwidth quite a bit. | R2x1 (4628) | ||

| 499928 | 2006-11-17 07:51:00 | Thank you gumdigger I have seen the speeds the downloaders get in Sweden and I know I won't get that but I would be happy with 10kbs as this would be ten times faster than what I am getting, I am lucky at the moment to get 1kbs. | distressed damsal (11483) | ||
