We (PC World) are giving away a full copy of NOD32 with each subscription or renewal during December and January. That's $70 worth. Or if you look at it a different way, buy a copy of NOD32 from us for $80 and get a free subscription to PC World :D

500940 2006-11-24 00:05:00 AVG has a new version - they are telling you to download this new one by the January date.

Its still free.

Thank You pctek.

And Scott Bartley - that is very interesting. You're going to get a new subscriber out of that.

500944 2006-11-26 21:19:00 I typed "Which is the best anti-virus program" into Google & got 21.5 million posts. I could not possibly live long enough to read them all. PJ:2cents: Poppa John (284)
500945 2006-11-26 21:27:00 I have just sent in renewal for two years. Can I get the NOD32 ?Only joking. I am quite happy with AVAST. KiwiTT_NZ (233)
500946 2006-11-26 21:31:00 Have tried Kaspersky, Bit Defender, NOD32 (all non-free versions), as well as most of the freebies.
Avast or AntiVir for freebies, and NOD32 is my pick for non-free (by a long way :) )

500947 2006-11-26 23:42:00 On the back cover of November's PCW-NZ: "...every week over 600 smart customers in NZ alone are switching to Eset NOD32."

If I was not happy with Avast, and was not a cheapie-freebie lover, I would get NOD32.

500948 2006-12-12 02:47:00 I have just sent in renewal for two years. Can I get the NOD32 ?It looks as if I am getting NOD32 anyhow as the headsets have run out.

As a user of AVAST, it will be interesting to see how NOD32 performs instead.
