| 500592 | 2006-11-20 02:15:00 | Just recieve s PDF file, arrived from friend,he has sent drawings. What sort of thing does one need to send a PDF file. As I understand it,the point of that kind of file is not to be able to alter on arrival? |

| 500593 | 2006-11-20 02:20:00 | What do u mean what do u need? An email addy helps if u wanna send it by email. You cant normally alter a PDF file, unless u buy Foxit or Adobe reader Pro. Or other programs that can read PDF files. |

| 500594 | 2006-11-20 02:29:00 | if you want to make one then send it you can use PrimoPDF to make pdf it's free and works great for me it's just a virtual printer so you can 'print' anything into the pdf file |

| 500595 | 2006-11-20 02:31:00 | The main point of a pdf file is that it preserves the formatting of the original so it doesn't look like a dog's breakfast if your reader settings are different from the writer's . It is also now a standard so you can expect the recipients to be able to open it . If you want to know how to write one (I presume you meant write rather than send), use google with "free pdf writer" . This will get you enough references to keep you out of mischief for a while! |
