| 502003 | 2006-11-25 08:08:00 | I have just reinstalled my Acer S2W 3300U scanner & with Mirascan. 1) Where do I find the scanner 'Settings' window so that I can increase the pixels, you know, the xxxxXxxx thingy. 2) On Mirascan there is a toolbar with various options......Scan to :- Printer , Word, File, Ocr, etc. I need to put 5 childrens books I have written , back onto the computer. I lost the lot when my HD died. I have typed/printed copies. If I scan them, I want to get them in a book form, not individual pages. How do I do that. Thanks. PJ :help: :help: |

PJ :help: :help: Sorry I can't help you with the scanner question, but how did your HDD died? Have you able to recover any files from it? Died by what? IC damaged? |

| 502009 | 2006-11-25 20:04:00 | PJ, I've just reinstalled the program on another pc for my sister,so mightn't remember exactly how! When you first start the program, if the silver coloured rectangular basic box comes up, you need to select the advanced section.I think half way down on the left there's a sine wave like icon, and if you click on that it will ask ........etc,saying you might loose any settings, but go ahead.Then the main screen will appear and on there you can change all your settings.Have a play there!! |

| 502010 | 2006-11-25 21:03:00 | scanner settings.......controlpanel/scanners and camera.........right clik the scanner.....go from there......and or in mirascan theres most likely some resolution settings options......cant remember lol........ to scan to editable form use OCR.... |
