| 501654 | 2006-11-23 23:35:00 | Hi I'm having an odd problem, which I cant seem to find a solution for. Basically I cant get the properties of a folder in XP. If I right click on a hard drive, or a file, and then choose properties, the usual properties dialog appears. However when I do this with any folder, nothing happens; the properties dialog does not appear. Ive also tried using file->properties, but nothing happens either. Has this ever happened to anyone? There's nothing strange about the folder (eg it doesnt contain 100,000 files, causing a delay for the properties dialog to appear). I can create a new empty folder, but I still cant get the properties dialog to appear for it. Its a pain, because I am unable to share folders; I must share entire drives! Does anyone know how I could fix this, or point me in the right direction? Thanks! |
