| 501696 | 2006-11-24 01:52:00 | I use a laptop on our school network regularly. At one stage, I was able to make a folder on my network drive "Available Offline", and my laptop would sync up every time I came back to school. However, after some work was done on our servers (in particular, the networked drives were changed from one server to another over a holiday break), there is now no option in any menu for me to make a folder available offline :horrified I have a feeling this is because the server that the network share was originally on was still there when my laptop came back, and it's got terribly confused as to where the networked drive actually was. However, even after (a) disabling offline files, (b) deleting the hidden CSC folder in the Windows directory, (c) re-enabling offline files, and (d) restarting between each step -- it still doesn't go! Any help as to how to get this going again would be much appreciated! :waughh: |

You may need to check that this has been set up correctly on the server rather than fiddling around with settings on your laptop (it was the server that changed, not the laptop, right?) HTH Mike. |
