502688 2006-11-29 12:01:00 i have had so much troble opening my ports on a 302g modem telecom supplies you with-what i have found is telecom do something to there ports on there modems to stop p2p downloads and maybe game ports (but not too sure on that) one thing i found was changing ports to over 10,000 as they seem to block certin ports like the standerd ports you get with the likes of bitlord torrent spy etc and maybe standerd ports you get with games- the only way i did it was some legend off this site showed me how to do it through dos and it worked perfect once done i keeped it on my computer but im in middle of moving house but im sure if you ask u will get it - hope i helped but could be a little of the subject as im more into p2p:) rawkus1020 (9720)
502689 2006-12-03 23:44:00 What do you need a static IP for?

The IP used in the telnet command is the internal IP of your computer.

Use 'ipconfig' to find out the internal IP of your computer.

It says i need a static ip to portforward the game.Any help would be nice:thumbs:.

502690 2006-12-04 03:57:00 It is talking about the internal IP of you PC...

Do what gizmoguy says, that will tell you the static IP (well it is not FULLY static but very close to it)
