| 503293 | 2006-11-30 15:37:00 | After reinstalling Windows XP Service Pack 2, the USB ports do not recognize my external hard drive, my USB Flash Drive, or my Sony Cybershot Digital Camera. The computer beeps when those devices are plugged in, but they are not recognized. The Explore does not show the drive either. As anaside, the CD Write drive does not write when using Roxio Easy Creator. Your help is appreciated. Marty |

| 503295 | 2006-12-01 03:23:00 | After u install SP2 (if it was slipstreamed on the cd), u should install the mobo drivers, then reboot, then delete the USB controller entries in device manager, then reboot again. XP will reinstall them. USB should work properly then. |
