| 503958 | 2006-12-03 08:29:00 | Hi there Ive just opened a Gmail account. to test the system, I sent an email to my Xtra account 4hrs ago, still nothings arrived. I sent one from my Xtra account, it was in Gmail inbox in a flash. Any idea why Gmail takes so long to send out? John in Mosgiel. |

| 503960 | 2006-12-03 09:45:00 | Have you checked your Xtra spam folder, John? Xtra's mail server have a tendency of "junking" the wrong e-mails... including their own promotional e-mails. Cheers :) |

In one case the delay was from Clear servers, so it's not just confined to Xtra, I suspect that spam overload could be a root cause. The full email headers can often reveal where the delay was. |
