| 504074 | 2006-12-04 00:59:00 | I need help to sort out this problem, Please help!!!!!!!! I have P5B board with bios V0706, Windows Xp sp2 operation system and Seagate,s 320g sata2 hard drive but it will not recognise my e-sata drive connection. I thought e-sata on P5B should be hot-swap function just like using USB connection! Is there any settings in Bios I need to enable it before it will work? Regard, Whanauli |

| 504075 | 2006-12-04 09:55:00 | Is the drive not recognised by the BIOS or by Windows? Some SATA controllers require drivers to be installed first. There should be instructions and drivers included, or downloadable from the manufacturers website if that was the case. Is this SATA drive a second drive to the OS drive or are you trying to install your OS on it? Welcome to PressF1 as well. :) |
