| 503743 | 2006-12-02 08:31:00 | thats not too hard to replicate John, you can do this two ways, forwards or backwards.. haha.. sorry, I'll try not to confuse you... what do is change the alpha levels (I think it's called alpha, I haven't worked in flash for a few months!) anyways, place the image you want seen first on the stage, and then make another layer above the image, and put the other image in this layer and have the alpha (or transparency) set to 0% so that you can't see the image on top, and then you make another key frame further on down where you have the alpha set to 100% . So in effect it creates a fading like animation. The further away in the timeline that the % is, the slower the fade. I'm guessing you understand a bit about keyframes and basic animation techniques... hope it helps... I taught myself just playing with transparency effects.. good luck!;) |
