1409624 2015-10-09 07:00:00 I plan to keep a asset tracking database for personal use.

The things I want to store in there are household items/electronics/software etc e.g would be TV, Washer, Microwave, Fridge, PC, headphones, lawn mower, Car

I want to be able to track their purchase date, price paid, attach maybe scanned/photo copy of receipt, serial number, warranty details, history on it by entering text comments and store a picture of the item etc.

I was planning on using maybe MS Access Database to create a simple table and form to go along with it to store this.

If i go MS Access Database route then ideally i want to be able to access it remotely say from an App on my iphone while my DB is stored on One Drive cloud. But I am not sure but is this possible? I dont see any MS Access app for iOS by Microsoft though.

Also...is there is an iOS App that does all this easily that i can use and save me building a DB?

Cheers

1409625 2015-10-09 08:44:00 There won't be an ms database app but there may be a general database app on the store. Just have a search. Webdevguy (17166)

Thanks! I do currently use it.

I have literally a thousand things in OneNote right now and thought of separating assets of higher monetary value in a DB format....I have more then one dwelling so would allow me to run reports/search bit more elegantly with few clicks in Access if i ever need for insurance or other purposes.

But yeah OneNote is very useful too and that's what I m using currently.

1409628 2015-10-10 08:11:00 You could use Snap (www.snap.org.nz), the NZ Police Asset Database. All you need to start with is to set up a RealMe profile from their website.

I did mine after I was burgled a couple times earlier this year.

Just make sure you don't register your bong, or the telly you got from that guy down the pub. :)
