I get a message when I try to open Defender that says "This app has been turned off and isn't monitoring your computer". There's no option to turn it on. Can anyone please advise? |

Are you running another AV? If you are running NOD32, NOD32 automatically disables Windows Defender. |

Have a look at Settings - Administrator in Windows Defender, and check if "Turn on this application" is ticked. |
