Yes, our database will allow you to run reports by the Port of San Diego.
Please follow the videos below and let me know if you have any questions.

youtu.be

The use of a look-alike youtube address was no doubt intended to give a false sense of safety.
I substituted *** for the last three characters so that nobody here could get caught (it was not exe, zip or any other executable).

1409184 2015-09-29 23:58:00 youtu.be is legitimate and is used by YouTube themselves. :) Of course, that assumes the link actually goes to that URL... pcuser42 (130)
1409185 2015-09-30 01:19:00 At work, we've being getting more than usual amounts malware infected spam the last month, all labeled to try & trick you into opening it.

More disturbing is that NOD32 wont detect most of this months batches of spam email attachments it malware (I sent one to virustotal, sure enough it was malware)

Windows having the default setting of hiding file extentions (.exe) is just the height of stupidity , what were you thinking MS ? If users could see it was really an exe, they might be less likely to try & open it.

1409186 2015-09-30 06:26:00 It really is time that ISP's all over the world got together and closed the account of all scammers.

Random emails are OK.
But straight out scams like lotteries, banks, IRD, malware, etc etc have got to go.

It is an odds-on bet that YouTube is not behind this little exercise, what possible commercial connection could they have with reports from the Port of San Diego.

Just out of interest, for what purpose might youtube use https://youtu.be?

Cheers

1409189 2015-09-30 10:13:00 bit behind the times (again) Billy....

If anything dominated the social media world last week, it was URL shorteners. Both Facebook and Google launched URL shorteners, Fb.me and Goo.gl respectively.

Now Google subsidiary YouTube has joined the URL shortening bandwagon. It has just announced youtu.be, the official short link of the world's largest video site.

The shortener is exclusive to YouTube links (no surprise). Its primary function is to share YouTube videos and channels with friends, mostly through YouTube's AutoShare feature, which syndicates your activity on YouTube to Twitter, Facebook, and elsewhere. and just like Fb.me, you can manually add the video code to the end of youtu.be and get the appropriate video. Youtu.be/c6K9P58Yf7E, for example, leads to the video I recorded of how the SF Zoo uses Twitter.

1409191 2015-10-05 02:07:00 The link is legit, but probably the video itself contains the rest of the scam... Agent_24 (57)
