1409233 2015-09-30 21:40:00 How do I setup my desktop to send to a large screen Sony Bravo by Wifi? According to Google, it is possible. The Sony does not have a built in Wifi card so I guess I would need a dongle but what would I need on or in the Desktop to transmit from? Bryan (147)
1409234 2015-09-30 21:45:00 You could use Wireless display. BUT, the CPU on the desktop would have to support it. And you can / would have to buy a WIDI adapter (www.amazon.com).

Which plugs into the TV. That provides the wireless from the PC to a TV

You would also have to buy a wireless display PCI card / USB adapter. Which supports wireless and WIDI.

1409236 2015-09-30 21:53:00 I could do something similar on the new build here. I didnt know the CPU supported it till I read what it supported on the Intel site

The adapters for it arent exactly cheap tho ! The adapters that plug into a TV arent too bad / arent that dear tho

1409238 2015-09-30 23:16:00 Hi to Speedy. My CPU is an AMD 4100-FX Quad Core. I found the following website www.cpu-world.com but I cannot determine if it would support what I would like to do. Could you interpret it for me please? Bryan (147)
1409239 2015-09-30 23:38:00 Nope dont think so. Only Intel CPU's support it (I think) Speedy Gonzales (78)
1409240 2015-09-30 23:59:00 "AMD Wireless Display (AWD) supports the connection of an additional display without the need of a video interface cable. Experience games or watch videos on the big screen, wirelessly, by systems powered by select AMD Accelerated Processing Units (APUs)"

Note: it is only selected APU's.. not all that support it
