1400719 2015-05-14 05:56:00 Yep. It's pretty crap at the moment. Picked up my brothers kids from daycare in the hutt valley as he is stuck in the city. I was lucky the route from home to work was pretty drama free plod (107)
1400720 2015-05-14 06:19:00 Hello Cicero! Are you going down for the third time? John H (8)
1400721 2015-05-14 06:31:00 SWMBO left Wgtn with a workmate just before 3pm, have to go along SH1 then over haywards hill SH58, Normally takes 30-45 odd minutes If I go that way myself, that's from wgtn to Home, 2 1/2 hours so far. They are moving (just).

I cam e out from Wgtn along the motorway this morning about 11ish, was Ok then.

She picked a fine to to have to go to Wgtn Hospital tomorrow morning :(

1400722 2015-05-14 07:19:00 Hope all is not too bad for you Cic with all that rain. Looked pretty bad on TV. My Dad said to me "Always buy the house on the knoll." I hope your Dad said the same. Richard (739)
1400723 2015-05-14 09:10:00 I am not happy with the updates from various orgs. I was waiting at a bus stop in Manners Street to get to my daughter's flat when an Airport Flyer came along heading for Queensgate. Driver said he was confident of getting there.
We had a straight forward run with no delays.
At home now and they are still advising people to stay in town. In this day and age, can't they keep their websites and twitter feeds uptodate??

1400724 2015-05-14 21:33:00 Hope your wife made it home last night. Me and mine driving back to Nelson today from Christchurch. gary67 (56)
1400725 2015-05-14 22:38:00 Central city wasn't too bad. In fact I walked from Stadium bar to Ngaio about 7pm and didn't get too wet, only slightly damp from drizzle. No big puddles/lakes to walk through either. the_bogan (9949)

Good question H, once again as luck would have it, am left wondering what all the fuss was about, so no Rich and J yours truly is happy on my knoll.
