| 1400516 | 2015-05-11 22:21:00 | I was given an old iphone4, set up gmail and it works fine - no issues in sending and receiving other than: when a message is deleted from my iphone, it also deleted my copy on the gmail server; whereas, in MS Oulook 2010, I can 'check' and leave a copy of the mail on gmail server. Is there a way to set up iphone 4 to leave a copy on the server? Cheers |

| 1400520 | 2015-05-12 02:01:00 | Are you using IMAP or POP access? IMAP typically syncs with the server in both directions anytime you do something, whereas POP only explicitly deletes when you tell it to (usually after X days, or when you delete, or when you empty your local "Deleted Items" or equivalent folder), depending on your email client. | MushHead (10626) | ||
