| 1400155 | 2015-05-07 00:06:00 | Why can't I have windows mail 2012 on this tablet. | Cicero (40) | ||
| 1400156 | 2015-05-07 00:33:00 | Is this the Surface RT? It runs Windows RT, which isn't the same as Windows 8/8.1. Windows Mail 2012 is a Windows 8 only program, it won't run on Windows RT. For email, Windows RT has the mail app (which offers basic email management, designed for touch), and if you're running Windows RT 8.1, there should also be the Outlook app (offers more advanced email management, designed for mouse + keyboard). I think the Outlook app will probably be the closest to a drop in replacement for Windows mail 2012. |

| 1400160 | 2015-05-07 01:13:00 | If it's just a Surface, not a Surface Pro, then it will have Windows RT as the OS, and as above, this is not a full x86/x64 build of Windows 8, and doesn't support standard Windows 8 applications. If it is a Surface Pro, then it runs Windows 8 Pro and can run any application that is supported on Windows 8. |

| 1400161 | 2015-05-07 01:15:00 | It has 8.1 on it? Not sure about RT? Sounds like a Surface RT. Try the 'mail' app, as well as the 'outlook' app, and see which one is to your taste. |
