| 504601 | 2006-12-06 07:45:00 | hi, changed AVG for NOD 32 a few days ago and ran a full scan. Found 1 worm; deleted. Now I have something strange, upon starting up XP everything goes well, my icons come up, but then the screen of death: windrvNT.sys address EE7E7703 base at EE7E6000, datestamp 409F405C. then the system stalls with this screen. i can start in safe mode though. do you think this has to do with the install of NOD32? I googled the windrbvNT.sys file and the opinions are very diverse: some say it does not pertain to any windows program, other say just to delete the sys file. What shall i do ? Cheers thanks Johan |

| 504602 | 2006-12-06 08:07:00 | It appears to be not a operational file for Windows. But instead of deleting it, why not just rename it.That way it is easy to re-instate if necessary. | pheonix (36) | ||
| 504603 | 2006-12-06 08:37:00 | FOUND IT !!! it is a little 35 kB file, that is created by a program called FolderLock. There are incompatibilities between this sys file and some antivirus programs. i love folderlock, so will look what the company can do about it. as you suggested, i renamed it, thanks Cheers Joha |
