| 505149 | 2006-12-08 07:50:00 | I'm trying to get a sound file from Radio New Zealand. It's on this page as a Podcast. www.radionz.co.nz It's on this page as an MP3. www.radionz.co.nz The file on that page is: podcast.radionz.co.nz These files will expire on December 14. I've tried to download the MP3 using normal software (Opera, Firefox, IE6 and GetRight) but I get no reaction. No "Not Found", no "You're not allowed", none of the usual problems. Just no reaction. Any advice? I'm getting the file for a friend who is a retired New Zealand school teacher. I'm still on dialup, using Win98. I don't want help with the file as a Podcast, I just want to save the MP3 to my hard drive. Thanks, MistyCat |

| 505150 | 2006-12-08 08:49:00 | When I click on any mp3 link from the RSS feed page, I just get this message. Unable to connect Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at podcast.radionz.co.nz. Perhaps try again later and see if it works. :) |

| 505155 | 2006-12-09 22:37:00 | I also can download the one in question fine (& have saved it to my hard drive, if you want to try & download that file from another server let me know), part from I get a crap download speed from them (11 KB/s) Firefox 1.0.7 Win XP Pro On Xtra Go Large and both these links: www.radionz.co.nz & www.radionz.co.nz work fine for me :) |

| 505156 | 2006-12-09 23:02:00 | I am using Safari browser on a Mac IE 6 may not be RSS compatible, I think IE 7 is though. I think Firefox should be able to handle RSS sites but may require some configuration. |

If you don't mind, I'll wait for the reply from access@radionz.co.nz I'd like to find my problem as there's two other sessions my friend would like to hear. They expire on Thursday 14th December, so if I've had no success by then I'd be very pleased to be able to get the one you downloaded from you. Cheers, MistyCat |

| 505158 | 2006-12-09 23:20:00 | Thanks, Safari. My browser of choice is Opera (on Win98, dialup), and so far I've had no trouble with RSS feeds. I tried Firefox and IE6 as well. My Downloader (GetRight) is usually pretty good too. With luck a reply from access@radionz.co.nz will give me more information specific to my problem. Cheers, MistyCat |
