| 505318 | 2006-12-09 03:54:00 | hi guys an girls first post here an it is to ask for help I have just formatted my computer an reinstalled everythig like modem.motherboar drivers etc but my sound drivers just dont want to install the last time i tryed to do a reinstall everything whent fine is it cause i put xp pro on the mother board is a ASUS A8N-VM-UAYGZ i used the disk that came with it an it just gives me error messages here is some screens i took img160.imagevenue.com G img136.imagevenue.com hope you can help me |

| 505319 | 2006-12-09 04:11:00 | Umm, is this the A8N-VM, the A8N-VM CSM, or the A8N-VM CSM-NBP? These are the different models on the ASUS site. I dont know what the UAYGZ bit means. Is this a 64 bit mobo, and are you using 32 bit windows or 64 bit windows? |

What it says on the motherboard box is ASUS A8N-VM-UAYGZ socket 939,nvidia it has to be 64bit cause i download a 32 bit driver an it didnot work |

BUT, by the sounds of it you're using a 64 version of Windows (maybe Vista)? If you're using a 64 bit version of Windows, these should work (dlsvr01.asus.com) Which are taken from here (support.asus.com) Type A8N-VM in the top lefthand corner. I would say its the A8N-VM. The UAYGZ has nothing to do with the model. |

| 505323 | 2006-12-09 05:05:00 | Also if this mobo cd has the Nvidia firewall on it, DON'T install it. Install some other firewall. This Nvidia firewall has given people a lot of probs, especially corrupted downloads. |

| 505325 | 2006-12-09 05:19:00 | Uninstall the other soundcard driver, in add/remove programs, if it shows here. Did the zip file, in the link I gave unzip? Or did u unzip that file and it said the same thing / error? While it was installing? |
