A domain name I have been wanting has expired and will be released in a couple of weeks, is there a way i can book it so that when it expires i can buy it instantly?

Cheers

Keep an eye on it here: http://www.expireddomains.co.nz/ & you can put in a request for it here: www.domainz.net.nz

Hope this helps & best of luck getting it. :)

expireddomains.co.nz is what I'd suggest too... but they offer a bidding process to acquire it, which in my opinion is a rip-off. So best thing to do is just keep a close eye on it via a domain search as it becomes available for release. Most domain name registrars allow you to search for a domain without actually having to be a customer of their's.

Also, I wouldn't recommend Domainz for registering the domain - they're a bit costly.

505040 2007-06-19 08:33:00 Ok how long does it take before a domain is released

The domains registration expired over a month ago and it's status is listed as pending release,

So how long does this pending release take as i had thought it would only be a month after expiration

edit Ok it appears 90 days after expiration, bugger I'm going to have to do some maths
