| 505638 | 2006-12-10 21:11:00 | I need a file drom my backup. My backup is a winzip file, size 7,074,000 Kb. When I try to extract I get "Archive is greater than 4 gigabyte" message. What can I do? |

| 505639 | 2006-12-10 21:21:00 | What OS are you using? What version of Winzip? That 4 gig limit sounds like your using Fat32 as you file system. If your using Window 2000 or XP you MIGHT be able to convert to NTFS and solve the problem. OR update Winzip to a newer version or another zip program. |

| 505643 | 2006-12-10 22:56:00 | The answer is in your previous post (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz) You have to convert the hdd to NTFS, if u have Windows 2000/XP. As it sounds like the hdd has been formatted in FAT32. Hopefully you're running 2k/XP. Otherwise, you'll have to take it to someone who's using 2K/XP. Or depending on what version of Winzip you're using, update it as well. |
