| 506717 | 2006-12-17 20:46:00 | FEAR runs quite happily on a 128MB card, but of course the settings aren't on high. 128MB is ok these days, but if you're looking to buy a graphics card, get at least 256MB. Then again, games like Crysis & Alan Wake will probably still eat them alive. :) |

The higher the resolution you run the games at, the more VGA RAM you need for good FPS I would say 256MB minimum and if you are going to be running at high resolutions then a high power 512MB card will be better |

I have a 128MB X600 which can only just cope with the Doom 3/Quake 4 generation of games, so if you are wanting to play games regularly, you would probably want 256MB on a decent graphics card. :) | maccrazy (6741) | ||
