2006-12-14 08:32:00 | Hi guys My son has changed some Firefix settings with the result that every day all history is wiped, all bookmarks are gone and one has to re-enter all your favourite website addies afresh. The son can't remember what he has changed. WinXp, Firefox (the latest), P31.7 ghz. Any-one able to tell me what to change to get the above back. Yes, I know it's probably very secure, but it's quite inconvenient. Thanks all sarel

2006-12-14 08:48:00 | Preferences - that under Tools? sarel

2006-12-14 08:50:00 | Possibly! I know on the Linux version of Firefox it is located elsewhere. Ok, try under Tools > Options. Just had to quickly check with a Windows user where it is located. :)

2006-12-14 23:52:00 | Tools > Options > Privacy, and untick "Always clear my private data when I close Firefox". | Nermal (7077) | |
2006-12-15 01:11:00 | Shouldn't Firefix fix itself? :D ;) | pcuser42 (130) | |
