| 507247 | 2006-12-17 00:41:00 | What causes vertical parallel green dashes on photographs be they my pictures, saved scans or downloaded pictures? Like so: ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' etc The photos print normally. It is only on the computer screen and not on screen saver photos. It ' s nothing to do with my Pentax camera as it is quite normal with my laptop. |

| 507248 | 2006-12-17 02:03:00 | I occasionally see some hash or pixellation in pictures if I save them at too high a resolution or DPI or something . . . especially if I have made changes to the chroma or tried to fine tune the pix to suit myself . I remember times when the cascading dots took most of the picture totally away . I also think it was also when I used MS's Picture It! or whatever the name was . So far, Picasa hasn't had that problem and I have not seen it again . Photography is not my forte' . . . . . . or it could be the 120volt/240volt thing again . :confused: |
