507648 2006-12-20 22:13:00 Well, its been nearly 2 weeks since i paid supercheap my money and i've stll heard nothing. They're not responding to the phone and they have not replied to my e-mails!!! On a better note, i ordered another drive from Ascent on Monday and it arrived yesrterday afternoon. I think i will be using Ascent in future.
I am now joining the ranks of people to urge others not to use Supercheap, they're pretty rubbish:groan:Wow, no respond? That must be pretty bad.

mmm Phone has never worked for me either . . . . Interestingly they say in their site:

Please note that the ONLY way Customer should communicate is through the 'Customer Comments Box' in his membership area . DO NOT send email or Phone calls or use this page .

Any queries, on orders already completed MUST be sent from Customer comments box, in order history . We do not accept any other channel of communication .

You might get lucky if you keep sending comments to them . . . otherwise you're probably stuffed . :badpc:

507650 2006-12-20 23:10:00 The only way I use Supercheap is by going to the shop in person and paying direct. That way I can avoid all these issues. However, I know that is not an option for many people on this forum. digikiwi (10681)

507652 2006-12-21 03:33:00 Yeah... they are fsukers!! I bought a hard drive off them, it dieded, I took it back they did a burn in test found nothing wrong. Of course I lost all data on it.

20 minutes after I get it home, it dies again!!!!

So I took it back again, they did another overnight burn in test and it said it was working!!! This time they charged me $50!

Took it home, had it working for a second and it died again. Tried some diff cables etc and after a bit of intermittancy it started working again!! I thort it my cables.

However now it has died again... I woke up the other morning to hear it going " ka-duk... . ka-duk... ka-duk... ka-duk" like the arm was whacking itself against the case.

I am dreading taking it back, plus I lost my servers backup!!!

In my PC it says "Bios does not be installed" on startup in the SATA POST. I tried it with all diff cables, built in sata, pcicard sata, windows, linux, compaq, asus yadda yadda yadda...

They are going to get it..................
