ok i can set my router's settings to 802.11g or mixed mode(which is 802.11b and g). Will settings this mode to just 802.11g give me higher speeds all the time cuz sometimes i get 4mbps and sometimes i get 24mbps. |

Well if u have any 11.b devices, and using 11.g, it'll run at 11. b speed.
But if u have 11g devices only, it'll run at 11.g speed. I spose it depends on how good the signal is, on how fast it is. |

Well put the main one on g only (not mixed mode), , then it'll run at 11.g speed. |
