| 506927 | 2006-12-15 18:17:00 | All the time now, I get a cookie from ZEDO in my Spybot S&D scans...now I know that cookies are not the worst thing that can happen, and most of them are not dangerous. I went to the ZEDO site, and they have an "OPT OUT" provision...and that got me to thinking. IF I opt out of ZEDO cookie insertions, will that in any way harm my Firefox Browser or surfing abilities? I notice that they seem to only be regulated by European standards of Safe Harbor Principles...whatever that is. I read their site posting at www.zedo.com Spybot or AdAware don't seem to be too bothered by the ZEDO things, they just allow me to kill them at my whim and fancy. Any thoughts? |
