| 508490 | 2006-12-21 07:18:00 | Hi All Was tinkering around in the folders options settings and some how i have changed the settings for when i double click on a folder..it now opens the "search" dialogue window.Also when i click file inside a window the first option is search not open doh! Any help would be much appreciated and i promise not to tinker again :waughh: :blush: thanks Keith |

Found the answer on this page. support.microsoft.com .but not very clear and a bit dodgy as you have to edit the registry and it is not labeled as clearly as it should be in the actual registry. anyway it has fixed the problem..apparently it happens if you fiddle with the advanced settings in Folders.. |
